70 Lashes for Sousan Razani & Shiva Kheyrabadi Two Women Workers

Feminist School:Court in Iran sentenced Sousan & Shiva to 70 and 15 lashes for attending the 1st of May International Workers day celebration in 2008 in Sanadaj (Kurdish area).

Sousan was also sentenced to 9 month suspended sentence for 3 years and Shiva was also sentenced to 4 month suspended sentence for 3 years.

TUC had also issued a statement to the Iranian government to stop carrying out the lashing sentence. However this was to no avail. Sentencing was carried out in the prison in Sanadaj.
