Zeynab Bayazidi’s suspended sentence over turned to obligatory sentence

Kurdistan Human rights watch press: this week , Zeynab Bayazidi, imprisoned Kurdish activist, received a new ruling in the central prison of Zanjan to carry out her full sentence instead of the initial suspended sentence. Zeynab Bayazidi ,who was arrested on charges of spreading falls publication and propaganda against the state, is to carry out her four and half year sentence in full.

Latest on the Aliyeh Eghdamdoost imprisonment one of the campaign members

According to Human Rights Committee in Iran Aliye Eghdamdoost one of the activists of campaign for one million signatures who started serving her prison term since January ,is kept in general ward of Evin prison and hence she is not allowed visits by her lawyers. Eghdamdoost was arrested at her home by the security forces and transferred to Evin prison to serve her prison term in full. This is the first case that the judiciary is acting against the Iranian Women’s Movement by sentencing its members to carry out their sentence in full.
