Cases: Reasons for Arrest (first case)

She was summoned because of peaceful gathering against discriminatory laws on June 12 2006

Current status:

a) Ruling: the branch no 6 of revolutionary court has sentenced her to three years of imprisonment. The court has suspended two and a half years of the sentence .leaving to serve six months in prison for collusion and assembly to endanger the national security according to article 610 of Islamic penal code. The appeal is under review

b) Prohibitions: she has been prohibited to leave the country

c) Bail at: 27,500 $

Cases: Reasons for Arrest (second case)

whilst she was at court being prosecuted for involvement with the June 12 2006 demonstration with 3 other activists. Her friends in front of the court were being arrested hence she left the court to defend her activist friends and she was arrested too on March 4 2007.

Current status:

a) Ruling: the branch no 13 of revolutionary court has sentenced her to two years of imprisonment with suspension for 3 years for collusion and assembly to endanger the national security according to article 610 and 25 of Islamic penal code. The appeal is under review

Cases: Reasons for Arrest (third case)

She has been summoned to the court on April 5 2008 for acting against national security by propaganda against the state and working for change of equality and zanestan websites.

Current status:

a) Ruling: the court is not held yet

b) Latest elaboration of the case:

Three cases, first one is for peaceful gathering against the discriminatory laws, on 22 June in haft e tir square, which consists of 3 years imprisonment which 2 and half years of it is suspended and the six month is conditional which is under review. The second case is to do with the arrests on March 4 2007 with 32 others in front of the revolutionary court, she has been sentenced to two years imprisonment with suspension for three years which is under review The third is for working in change for equality and zanestan websites the court is holding on august 2 2008 .
